Racquet Trend Expo: the world of the racquet lands at the Milan Trade Fair

The world of the racket gets together in Milan.
Padel Trend Expo, the project that in two editions has attracted more than 40,000 visitors and involved 265 brands and 4500 clubs, transforms into Racquet Trend Expo and returns to Milan, for the first time in the exhibition spaces of Fiera Milano in Rho, March 7-9, 2025. È an evolution that makes this event – sponsored by CONI, CIP, Sport and Health, the Municipality of Milan and with the participation of ENIT SpA – the first format in Europe entirely dedicated to all major racquet sports, involving B2B and B2C sectors to offer a unique experience to professionals and fans.
A record consecrated on the stage of Racquet Trend Expo, an event conceived by Next Group and co-organized by Padel Trend together with Fiera Milano . It will be held inside the Fiera Milano pavilions, which will host the 2026 Winter Olympic Games in Milan Cortina, thus making itself among the ringleaders of an era of major global sports events. Tennis, padel, pickleball, beach tennis and volleyball: the whole world of the main racket sports – thanks to the collaboration of FITP and FITET – will be present with dedicated areas, where fans will be able to find all the latest news in the sector and more, at the more than 100 stands present, as well as try their hand on the 21 courts set up, participate in clinics, events, competitions, shows and conferences, in the presence of champions, coaches, VIPs and legends of these sports.
In addition to the promotion of all federal assets and the promotion of eSports, the FITP’s exhibition spaces will allow visitors to take a closer look at the Davis Cup and Billie Jean King Cup, won last November in Malaga by the Italian national team led by Tathiana Garbin and Filippo Volandri. The 'Trophy Tour' – the tour of Italy that until the end of the year will touch all the regions, clubs and some of the most evocative places in our country – therefore makes a stop in the exhibition spaces of Fiera Milano in Rho to the delight of fans. On the playing fields, FITP teachers, coordinated by the 'Roberto Lombardi'Istituto Superiore di Formazione 'Roberto Lombardi', will devote themselves to training and promoting the disciplines, with game tests and in-depth technical discussions held by the Institute's Director Michelangelo Dell'Edera. Also scheduled are under-14 technical rallies and a leg of the TPRA pickleball circuit.
As for the activities of the FITET – Italian Tennis Federation, of particular note is the presence on Friday, March 7, of Paralympic athletes from the A2 series wheelchair team Carepharm Paralimpycs Tennis, who will be the protagonists of a demonstration. On Saturday, 8, two federal technicians will be on hand to pass on the basics to newcomers, dribble with the more experienced and provide information to anyone interested in the federal activity. On Sunday, 9, the pong players of the Aon-Vittoria Milano Sport, a team that plays in the A2 championship, will take part in an exhibition.
There will be many champions, former sportsmen and entertainment personalities expected on 21 courts that will enliven the 3-day Milanese event. Starting with tennis, Adriano Panatta, Paolo Canè, Diego Nargiso, Laura Golarsa, Omar Camporese, and well-known international coaches Samuel Lopez, Antonio Cascales, Massimo Sartori, Giorgio Galimberti, Thomas Fabbiano and Daniel Panajotti will be present. Worth mentioning is the presence of the famous schools such as the Rafa Nadal Academy, Ferrero Academy, Vavassori Academy, Golarsa Tennis Academy, Horizon Tennis Academy and the Galimberti Tennis Academy.
Turning to padel, some “legends” such as Seba Nerone, Pablo Lima, Sanyo Guttierrez, Miguel Lamperti, Mati Diaz, Gaston Malacalza and the great young revelation Tino Libaak will be present. Always present are the token Academies, such as: Cepac, Padel M3, Set Academy and Gustavo Pratto Academy. Very welcome the presence of Marcela Ferrari, selector of the Italian national teams, as well as that of some of our best players such as Lorenzo Di Giovanni, Michele Bruno, Emily Stellato, Giulia Sussarello, Giulia Dal Pozzo, Carlotta Casali, Francesca Campigotto.
