The big wins in the field and a stellar performance.

The Cleveland Cavaliers and Oklahoma City Thunder, both of whom were on the court on the Italian night between Friday and Saturday and who confirmed themselves as the NBA’s fittest franchises in the East (and overall) and West, respectively. The man of the day è forò without a shadow of a doubt Nikola Jokic, capable of leading the Denver Nuggets in an overtime victory that writes his name even more in basketball history.

Indeed, his Nuggets managed to prevail 149-141 over the Phoenix Suns, but what makes the eyes glaze over are Jokic’s numbers: 31 points, 21 rebounds and 22 assists. In NBA history, it had never happened to anyone to put up a triple double of at least 30+20+20. Moreover, he è already reached 29 triple-doubles in a single season, which è the all-time record. But this year there are 19 games yet to be played.

Cleveland, on the other hand, maintains the NBA’s best record (53-10) thanks to a 117-118 win over the Hornets.

Bitter in the mouth for Charlotte, which led by 9 points with six minutes left. In the Western Conference, the Thunder reach six wins in a row thanks to a round 107-89 win over Portland; by now San Antonio’s crisis is over, falling 127-109 against Sacramento.

NBA, the results of the night:

Charlotte Hornets-Cleveland Cavaliers 117-118

Miami Heat-Minnesota Timberwolves 104-106
Oklahoma City-Portland Trail Blazers 107-89
