Great Italy in the triple jump at the European Indoor Track and Field Championships in Apeldoorn, Netherlands.
Italy's Andy Díaz Hernández took the gold medal by jumping 17.71 meters, while Andrea Dallavalle hit bronze in 17.19 meters. Silver to German Max Hess (17.43 meters).
“È it was difficult but fun, I adjusted my run-up and my anxiety and managed to make the right jump” said Diaz after the competition.
“I am here è the title I want to give this medal. My dream was to sing the Mameli anthem and è the day has come, I am very excited, è the time has come to sing the anthem".
