Alex De Minaur peremptory over Jannik Sinner
Alex De Minaur spoke about Jannik Sinner in an interview with The Age newspaper. L'Azzurro è the black beast of the Australian tennis player, who has always lost in every challenge against him, but De Minaur has only admiration for the South Tyrolean champion: "Jannik è an incredible guy, I have nothing but great things to say about him".
De Minaur has no doubts about Sinner's integrity regarding the Clostebol case: "I grew up with him, I know what his values are and what he has done on and off the court", are the Australian's clear words.
Still on the Sinner-Wada case, De Minaur explained why many tennis players remained skeptical about what happened and Jannik’s 3-month suspension: "The common reflection of many players è related to the way the trial è unfolded. Everyone è seemed to miss something because è we were kept in the dark until the end. That is what caused a certain kind of reaction".
Defeated at the Australian Open in the quarterfinals by Sinner, De Minaur lost in the final to Carlos Alcaraz in Rotterdam. He is currently è tenth in the ATP rankings.
