Feyenoord believes in the feat

Two weeks after the 1-1 draw that eliminated AC Milan from the Champions League (after winning the first leg 1-0), Feyenoord returns to the San Siro to play the return leg of the round of 16 against Inter Milan, this time starting from a clear disadvantage. In Rotterdam, in fact, the Nerazzurri won 2-0, with goals from Thuram and Lautaro Martinez.

Instead, it will be a "first" as a coach at the Meazza for Robin van Persie, who picked up the baton from Pascal Bosschaart (who returned to youth leadership after taking over the interim position following Brian Priske's exoneration). The former Arsenal and Manchester United player, among others, believes in the possibility of a comeback, while admitting the difficulty of the task.

"Inter's quality we have already seen last week,‖ Van Persie told 'Sky Sport'.‖ We know it will be a difficult game but, although we do not have everyone available, we must take the field with the conviction that we can overturn the result. We have to score the first goal, then the second and then the third: clearly it will not beà simple".

The biggest concern for the Rotterdam club’s coach è relates to the Nerazzurri’s defense, which has so far proved airtight in the Champions League: "We have to admit that they are very strong at the back, so far they have only conceded one goal. They are a perfect machine quesi but we have no alibi: we have to play to win".
