A duel between ducatistas is also in the offing in Argentina. On the Termas de Rio Hondo circuit a year ago it è not raced but Marc Marquez has already won there and is aiming for an encore after his triumph in the first race of the year.

"I am particularly happy to return, after a year of absence, to race in Argentina, a track that I like and where I have managed to be fast and competitive in the past. We come from a practically perfect weekend in Thailand, where we were able to make the most of what we did during testing and be incisive in the race. This has really charged me up and I can’t wait to get back on track".

Different the state of mind of Pecco Bagnaia, looking for redemption: "It is back to racing in Argentina, a very fast track and that can’adapt well to the Desmosedici".

"In Thailand it was not è an easy GP, we were fast, solid, we hit two third places, but we were not perfect. We have to work on some factors and aspects in order to be fully competitive and be able to have our say in the weekend".
