Giovanni Simeone sends a message of love to Napoli fans

Giovanni Simeone gave a long interview to CRC, Napoli’s radio partner. "The challenge against Fiorentina è was the best match we have played during this season – he began – both in terms of play and in terms of scoring chances produced. Against Fiorentina there’s been a goalkeeper who è was in the top 10 of the best in recent years and itè is not easy to score when you have such a strong goalkeeper in front of you. Beyond everything I think the team must always be fierce and have a desire to score goals".

"Usually the coach almost always has me on the field to replace Lukaku – added the Argentine striker. Against Fiorentina, however, he tried something different, having us play together: maybe he needed people to keep the ball and press high. Actually, I don’t have a preference, I am always at the coach’s disposal. Obviously playing together with Lukaku guarantees you more quality, because he holds the ball very well and that helps me in attacking space. However, the coach knows that there are many solutions you can implement".

So he sent a message of love to the fans: "A fan base like that in Naples I have never seen anywhere, their support is worth so much. For me è it is difficult to explain, they are special feelings when you enter the stadium. Sometimes I imagine how difficult it is for opposing players to play against us in a stadium that is full and so ì warm".

"The charge we always have. The coach gives us’charge every day: before the video analysis, the training sessions, he always gives us pep talks. We are always charged up thanks also to the staff and the coach. I have never worked soà much in my life. I don’t know how this season will end, but I will never forget everything we have done this year: è it was really hard physically and mentally, but once you reach a certain level it becomes a good thing. Suffering becomes pleasant as youé start to see the results. In the end, you see the work done" concluded Simeone.
