Dele Alli è back to play

Feb. 27, 2023-March 15, 2025: After more than two years since his last official match, Dele Alli saw the pitch again and did so, somewhat surprisingly, in the 81st Milan-Como match, with the Rossoneri leading 2-1. The Englishman, however, did not repay as he would have liked the trust placed in him by Cesc Fabregas, getting himself sent off at 90' for a bad intervention on Loftus-Cheek.

For Dele Alli, it seemed the end of a nightmare: a precocious talent who exploded in the Tottenham shirt in the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 seasons, the 1996-born footballer had then had several personal problems, which had not allowed him to maintain on the field the level shown in his first two Premier League seasons.

Leaving Tottenham in January 2022, after gradually losing more and more space, he had settled at Everton but even on the blue side of the Mersey he had failed to return to his level, deciding to move to Turkey, to Besiktas, in the 2022-2023 season. It was with the Istanbul-based Bianconeri that he had played his last game, before a spiral of injuries and other personal problems that had kept him out of action for two years.

Saturday, March 15, the return to the field, which però did not è go as desired by the Larian footballer: very harsh intervention on compatriot Loftus-Cheek, on-field review by referee Marchetti that unravels all doubts. Red card, we will have to wait at least three weeks (if the day of disqualification will be only one) to see Dele Alli on the field again.
