No France for Marcus Thuram: back to Milan

No France for Marcus Thuram
Marcus Thuram will not participate in the Nations League doubleheader that will see France face Croatia in the Nations League quarterfinals. Initially summoned by head coach Didier Deschamps, the Inter Milan striker left the French national team’s training camp after undergoing a medical examination and some tests.
This was announced by the transalpine national team itself through an official statement. ""Called up by Didier Deschamps among the twenty-four players for the Nations League quarterfinal against Croatia, Marcus Thuram è arrived Monday afternoon at the National Center in Clairefontaine,” it reads. The Inter Milan striker è was examined by Dr. Franck Le Gall before undergoing checks".
"Due to recurring pain in his left ankle, Marcus Thuram will not be able to take part in the matches scheduled for Thursday, March 20 in Split and Sunday, March 23 at the Stade de France against Croatia. Didier Deschamps has therefore decided to make him available to his club. The coach currently counts on a roster of twenty-threeé players" closes France’s note.
Thuram will thus return to Appiano Gentile where he can continue his personalized recovery program. Inter and Simone Inzaghi will absolutely not be able to do without him in the coming month in which the Nerazzurri will be busy on all fronts: from matches with Udinese, Parma, Cagliari, Bologna and Roma in Serie A, to the double commitment with Bayern Munich in the quarterfinals of the Champions League and with Milan in the semifinals of the Coppa Italia.
