While waiting to return to the court at the Internazionali d'Italia, Jannik Sinner has decided to add another tournament to his clay court schedule: the world number one will in fact play the Hamburg ATP 500. Announcing it è was the German tournament itself through a statement released on its official website.

"Jannik Sinner has confirmed his participation in the Hamburg Open (May 17-24, 2025),” it says.

The world number one will play Rothenbaum for the first time in his career and his participation will be the icing on the cake of an already outstanding field of world-class players for the prestigious ATP 500".

"I am excited to make my debut at the Hamburg Open, a tournament with a great history in our sport. The fans always create a great atmosphere on the beautiful center court. I look forward to playing at the Rothenbaum in May and can&#39t wait to finally visit Hamburg" said Jannik Sinner about his participation.

So no break for the South Tyrolean between the Rome Masters 1000, scheduled for May 7-18, and Roland Garros, starting on Sunday, May 25. The goal è to put as many matches as possible in his legs ahead of the Paris Slam, which is still missing from Sinner’s trophy cabinet.
