Miami, Lucia Bronzetti makes no mistake on debut

Lucia Bronzetti did not tremble in her debut at the Miami Masters 1000. The Italian tennis player, in fact, ruled in two sets Spanish Jéssica Bouzas Maneiro with a score of 6-4 6-3, after about one hour and forty-five minutes of play.

The match è full of excitement from the start, as evidenced by the four breaks in the first four games. In the fifth game, Bronzetti manages to hold serve for the first time, while her Spanish opponent loses it for the third consecutive time, thus paving the way for the blue player who makes the partial her own with a score of 6-4.

Bouzas Maneiro’s prolonged break continued in the second set, which began with a 3-0 lead in favor of the Rimini native. The Iberian player, for her part, tries to get back into the match, but yet another acceleration by Bronzetti effectively closes the match with a score of 6-3.

In the next round, the Italian tennis player will face Greek world number 28 Maria Sakkari.
