Italian Super Cup, four-team format confirmed

The Serie A Clubs, meeting today in a General Meeting in Milan, approved the four-team format for the upcoming EA SPORTS FC Supercup. The Clubs also confirmed Deloitte as the auditing firm of the Serie A League.

“It was a day of intense work and fruitful cooperation between the Clubs,” commented League President Ezio Simonelli. “We laid the foundations for the activities of the various Commissions we have activated and made important decisions, including the one on the format of the Supercup”.

“We now await the decision of the organizers of Saudi Arabia, expected by the end of April, regarding the possibility of hosting the next edition of this competition.”
