Sofia Goggia half-promotes her season

The Sun Valley giant slalom ended in the worst way for Sofia Goggia. The Bergamo-born skier, in fact, after a fourth-place finish in the first run, she slipped in the second run, which ousted her from the race. Speaking to the official channels of the “FISI”, the Italian wanted to take stock of her season.

“Looking back I am moved by the season I had, but at the same time I am angry about the giant slalom, where I have been trying all year and still can&#8217t put two heats together. I prefer to look on the bright side and be happy for doing well in at least one run” began the skier from Bergamo.

“I am happy for what I did, however, you live for what you failed to do. The most beautiful thing is to have finished a healthy season, and it hasn”t happened since 2017” added the Bergamo native.

“The Olympic season will be the’apotheosis for our team. The promise I feel like making to everyone is that I will give my all to be the best version of me” concluded Sofia Goggia.
