Gymnastics: Emanuela Maccarani is no longer dt after 30 years

Turn in rhythmic gymnastics after 30 years: Emanuela Maccarani will no longer be the technical director of the Azzurre. This was announced by the new president of Federginnastica, Andrea Facci.

“I will take over as interim technical director until June 30. It’s then been voted a unanimous choice of early termination of Professor Emanuela Maccarani&#8217s contract. We believe the cycle is over and thank Emanuela for her achievements”.

Maccarani is on trial over the complaint of two former gymnasts, Anna Basta and Nina Corradini. Leading the Azzurre since 1996, Maccarani has won a total of 235 medals, including four Olympic medals.
