Lazio, season over for Patric

Lazio will be forced to forgo Patric for the rest of the season. The defender, in fact, flew to Spain where he underwent an operation on his ankle due to a longitudinal injury of the peroneus brevis, as specified by the Lazio player himself on social media.

“In November, during the game against Como, I felt a strong pain in my ankle. Thinking it was nothing serious, I continued to play for a month and a half, helping myself with anti-inflammatories and infiltrations. But in the end, that same ankle made me realize that I could no longer go on” explains the Spaniard.

“After undergoing tests, the diagnosis came. At that point I had two options: operate right away or try the conservative route. Without hesitation, I chose the second path, to avoid not returning in time for this season.”

“The pain and instability forced me to make a decision I never wanted to imagine: to undergo surgery. Now a new path begins. I will work every day to come back stronger than before” concludes Patric.
