Marco Perugini’s Gaz Volga M21 stuns again

First put on the market in 1956, it was immediately appreciated for its ruggedness, a feature that proved to be crucial: indeed, it was not easy to cope with the road and weather conditions of the then Soviet Union. But the Gaz Volga M21 is also stunning on an aesthetic level, and it is no coincidence that it continues to win prizes in beauty contests devoted to historic cars.
This time, the beautifully preserved car owned by Marco Perugini routed the competition in the category of cars built from 1941 to 1959 at the Concorso d’Eleganza for historic cars organized by the VAMS Varese Auto Moto Storiche club federated by ASI and staged in Tradate, in the province of Varese.
Fifty vintage collectible cars were displayed in the courtyard and on the lawn of the historic Villa Castiglioni, the protagonists of a parade that highlighted the style, excellent state of preservation and maintenance of the vehicles, as well as their fidelity to the original after restoration.
