Facing this version of Novak Djokovic there was little he could do. For the second year in a row, Lorenzo Musetti (No. 16 ATP) says goodbye to the Miami Open presented by Itau in the round of 16.

In the last 8, in Florida, there goes the Serbian (now No. 5), who won 62 62 62 playing one of his best matches in all of 2025. After the opening 0-2 in the first set, in fact, the 37-year-old from Belgrade brought home 12 of the next 14 games.

Musetti unfortunately picked up only 14 points in the return rounds, often punished in the exchanges by the excellent geometry of the six-time champion in Miami. For “Nole” the dream of the 100th career ATP title comes a little closer’ more. He will face Sebastian Korda (No. 25) in the quarters.
