This is it. Olimpia is awaiting the final rush in the Euroleague. Currently 12th in the standings (16-15 record), the red-and-whites have three games to grab a spot in the postseason, specifically enter the play-in (from 6th to 10th place). To do so, they must not miss any of the three remaining games before the end of the regular season.

After losing the last two games (Paris and Real Madrid), Coach Messina’s team must win in today’s challenge, at the Forum (8:30 p.m.), against Barcelona, already beaten in the first leg. The Blaugrana have one more victory than the Red and White. Hooking them up in the standings would be crucial and would guarantee the EA7 the advantage in direct confrontations.

As Coach Messina specified, a defense to the height will be needed. Against Paris and Real Madrid, Olimpia conceded 92 and 96 points, respectively. Too many to do well in the Euroleague. With the Blaugrana, mothballed by injuries, it will need a gigantic test in defense, as well as in offense (the’former Mirotic is called upon to play a leading game).

Milan has three finals ahead of it. After the home challenge with Barcelona, it will face Virtus Bologna next April 4 and, on April 10, at home, it will close the Euroleague regular season against Baskonia. Right now, there are as many as six teams gathered within two points (from seventh to 12th, which is Olimpia). Three finals, all to be won.
