After defeats against Olimpia Milano and Trapani Shark, Germani Brescia is awaiting its third consecutive head-to-head clash against Dolomiti Energia Trentino, which will be called upon to pick itself up after the sprint knockout against the Red Shoes in the previous round. Ahead of the game at the T Quotidiano Arena, Leonessa head coach Peppe Poeta, among other topics covered in the press conference, tried to identify the main strengths of the opposing team.

“We will face a formation that presents a clear and defined identity and that, so far, has been able to express an entertaining, exciting and also very effective basketball. Trento likes to play in the first seconds of possession, running in the open court and show a flow of play of the highest level” began the Leonessa coach.

“They are a well-coached, means-aware team that makes energy, their youth and style of play their strength. We will have to be good, as was the case in the Trapani away game, in trying to limit lost balls, avoiding their transitions as much as possible and trying to make the most of the advantages we might have in some game situations” added the former Blue point guard.

“One of the main keys to the’matchup will be to contain Quinn Ellis, their most important offensive game flow generator. Secondly, we will have to defend hard against Anthony Lamb and Jordan Ford, two absolute high scorers” Peppe Poeta remarked.
