Fiorentina-Atalanta, Raffaele Palladino praises Gian Piero Gasperini

Raffaele Palladino spoke in a press conference ahead of the match between Fiorentina and Atalanta, scheduled for Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Franchi. “The team is doing a great job and it gives me a lot of confidence – he began -I am happy that the boys have this’ambition and esteem. We had a conversation in the last few hours, we set goals, the team wanted to set them, but they remain inside the locker room. The secret now is to think game by game, with the knowledge that we can play with everyone”.
He then praised Gasperini: “Gasp for me is a master, I saw soccer differently with him and he revolutionized Italian soccer. I tried to take from him all the things you can take. However he is one, you cannot copy and paste with anyone, even more so with him”.
“At the’first leg I understood the strength of this team– added the Viola coach -Even when things failed I always thought we could do our best. We will have to put everything on the field from here to the end and the match against Atalanta will give us a lot of morale”.
Moise Kean is coming off a double with Italy: “I think credit should be given to the boy for everything he has done and the path he has built for himself. Then also to the fans and teammates who have supported him so much. He has ambition and maturity, he can grow further and he is the present and the future of the national team. He must never lose his fitness and we work on it every day”.
Closing on Gudmundsson: “I always said he lacked physical continuity as well as the spark of scoring goals. He has found both, he is 100 percent in and he is a phenomenal player who shifts the balance. I think he will finish on the rise and I hope so. The feeling is great, I believe in both the man and the player. We are happy to have him back in a great way”.
