Novak Djokovic dominates Grigor Dimitrov and flies to final in Miami

Novak Djokovic finds the final again at the Miami Masters 1000. The Serbian tennis player, in fact, won in two sets over Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov with a clear 6-2 6-3, in about one hour and ten minutes of play.

The first set started immediately uphill for Djokovic, who lost his serve as early as in the opening game’the opening game. The Belgrade native’s reaction, however, was not long in coming, as in the second game came the counter-break to zero. From that moment, the Serb was able to impose his game with greater ease and with a five-game to one lead, he won the first partial 6-2.

Dimitrov’s prolonged break continued into the opening bars of the second set, where Djokovic made the first three games his own. On the strength of the break lead, the number four seeded player simply managed until the final 6-3, which opens wide the doors to the final.

The final set was a great success.

Thanks to this success, Novak Djokovic became the oldest person to reach a 1000 final at the age of 37 years and 10 months. In addition, in the final, the Serb, by beating the winner of the match between Jakub Mensik and Taylor Fritz, would win his seventh title in Miami, as well as the 100th in his career.

The Serb would also win his seventh title in Miami.
