Taylor Jenkins surprise torpedoed by Memphis Grizzlies

Like a bolt from the blue, the Memphis Grizzlies and Taylor Jenkins part ways with nine games left in the NBA regular season. Making the separation known, was the Tennessee franchise’s own GM Zach Kleiman through an official statement.
“I would like to thank Taylor for when he gave to this team and this city over the past six seasons. It’s been a difficult decision considering the consistent and tangible technical development of the players under his leadership. I wish him the best as he continues his career” this is GM Zack Kleiman”s salute.
With nine games left in the regular season, Memphis is in fourth place in the Western Conference with a record of 44-29, one and a half games behind third place and only two ahead of the play-in zone.
During his six years on the Memphis bench, Taylor Jenkins has made three playoff appearances in the last five seasons and has become the winningest coach in franchise history with 250 wins and 214 losses.
