Mattia Destro starts again in Serie B

Mattia Destro starts again from Serie B. The Italian forward born in 1991 has signed until the end of the season with Reggiana. This was announced by the Granata club itself through an official note released on its website.

“Mattia Destro is a new Reggiana player – reads the statement issued by the Emilia club. The forward, class of 1991, with over 300 appearances and 100 goals to his credit between Serie A and the Italian national team, has signed an agreement with the Granata club until June 30, 2025”.

Destro, who grew up in the youth sector of first Ascoli and then Inter, made his debut in professional soccer with Genoa, but the most brilliant period of his career was during his time at Siena, where he scored 12 goals and provided 4 assists in 30 league games, thus earning the attention of Roma.

After a loan at AC Milan in the 2014/2015 season, Destro chose to start again at Bologna, where he remained for five seasons. He then returned to Genoa until 2022, before moving to all’Empoli, where in the last two seasons he scored only one goal in 33 games.
