Tegola for Juve, Tudor loses a starter

Juventus in trouble on defense: Igor Tudor has lost Federico Gatti. The Juventus defender fractured the diaphysis of his fibula in the first half of the game against Genoa and will have to sit out for a long time at a crucial time of the season.

“Federico Gatti, who came out during the first half of the match against Genoa following a severe bruised left leg, underwent diagnostic tests at J medical. Radiological examinations performed showed the presence of a compound fracture of the diaphysis of the fibula” is the Juventus note.

Gatti will have to be out for at least a month: he will definitely miss the next match against Roma and also those with Lecce, Parma and Monza. His return could come on May 4, at the away game against Bologna, a real direct clash for Champions League qualification.

At the moment Juventus is fifth in the standings on 55 points, -1 behind fourth-place Bologna.
