Premier League 2024-2025: Southampton-Crystal Palace, the likely lineups

Only mathematics has not yet condemned Southampton to relegation, which, however, with only 9 points won in 29 games, is unlikely to change its fate. The Ivan Juric-coached team will at least try not to remain in single digits in the points tally after 30 days, against a Crystal Palace side that seems to have nothing more to ask of the league, being far from the European zone but also +22 from third-last place.
The Saints, in the calendar year 2025, have known only defeats, except for the 32nd FA Cup match they overcame against Swansea and the league match they won against Ipswich Town on Feb. 1. The Croatian coach is relying on Paul Onuachu, who returned to score in the previous match against Wolverhampton: behind him are Mateus Fernandes and Sulemana.
The Eagles, have definitely pulled themselves out of the danger zone thanks to a brilliant last month and a half in which they have known only victories and, in addition, clinched a place in the FA Cup semifinals by defeating Fulham with a clear 3-0 win. Center forward Mateta and offensive wild cards Eze and Sarr, all of whom scored in March, will try to give the London club another satisfaction.
