Deborah Compagnoni encourages Federica Brignone

To comfort Federica Brignone after yesterday’s injury there’s also Deborah Compagnoni who entrusts ANSA with her message of hope, indeed certainty.
“Never mind me and my injuries, now the goal is Federica’s return to the track. I am sure she will make it, in a month, and here I speak from experience, she will already be better”.
“She has grit and character, she is a tiger, she knows how to fight, she will give her best to come back and manage this period as best she can. I after injuries have had wonderful races, and this I wish her to do”.
Deborah Compagnoni competed in the World Cup from 1986 to 1999, winning 16 races and one giant slalom cup, to which she added three Olympic and three world golds, won despite a career plagued by a thousand injuries especially to her knees.
