Monte Carlo draw: unlucky Matteo Berrettini and Fabio Fognini

Late in the afternoon, the Monte Carlo Masters 1000 draw was made. It did not go well for Matteo Berrettini, who in the second round could already face Alexander Zverev, the number one seeded seed.

Also on the same side of the draw is Lorenzo Musetti, who after his debut with a qualifier (like Berrettini), awaits one between Lehecka and Korda, before a possible round of 16 with either Zverev or Berrettini in an all-Italian derby.

As for the other Azzurri, Fabio Fognini, who received a wildcard, will face the’hostile Francisco Cerundolo in the first round, before a’possible suggestive challenge with Alcaraz in the second round.
