F1, Ferrari: Lewis Hamilton doesn’t look for alibis

At the conclusion of a Saturday that was anything but exciting, Lewis Hamilton commented on the qualifying outcome of the Japanese Grand Prix, in which he did not go beyond eighth place overall, to the microphones of ‘Sky Sport’. The Briton’s best time was 311 thousandths slower than that of his teammate, Charles Leclerc, who will start fourth instead.
“I didn“t feel good, otherwise I wouldn’t have finished eighth – said, cutting it short, the number 44 -. On the one hand it is nice that Charles is so close to the front row, he was very fast and I am happy. On the’other hand, though, I wasn’t able to exploit the full potential of the car. We will work to figure out what happened”.
“Charles and I chose two different setups – the seven-time world champion further explained -: the direction he took certainly bore fruit on the dry lap, the one I chose I hope can lead me to a better result in the race. so much will also depend on the weather, we have to figure out how the rain will affect tomorrow”.
Coming to Ferrari this season, Lewis Hamilton has had an up-and-down start, matching that of the Red: the first high point came in the Sprint Race in China, which ended in victory, but the satisfaction of Saturday’s success was dampened by disqualification in the GP run twenty-four’hours later, for irregularities detected in post-race scrutineering.
