Roma, Claudio Ranieri provides clarity on his future

Here are the words to the microphones of DAZN after the 1-1 draw at the Stadio Olimpico against Juventus of Roma coach Claudio Ranieri, who put a stop to his future at the end of the championship.
“Why take a step back? I had already stopped last year, then some teams had sought me out and I answered that only for Roma and Cagliari could I come back. I have been around the world for more than 35 years and I do not know the world, before I die I want to know the world. Now it is right for me to say stop”.
Talking about the match, he added: “We knew Tudor would bring his grit and mentality, always playing forward, they didn’t surprise us. They were good. Juve is a great team and will fight for fourth place. If there’s a bet to be made I say Juventus will finish in the top four”.
“The final straight begins, we are off and not slow. Now comes the derby which is a beautiful match that you only comment on after the match hoping that we do well and the fans can enjoy it with lots of technique on the field,” Ranieri concluded.
