Jacques Villeneuve doesn’t let Max Verstappen off the hook

Jacques Villeneuve spoke to Sky Sports Uk after what happened over the weekend in Japan. In particular, he pointed his finger at the McLaren drivers: “They don’t seem to be too disappointed. Which is strange, because they should have been in first and second place.”
“They were not slow, but they were beaten by a better team and driver than them and that should hurt”, he added, stinging Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri.
Verstappen, however, cannot sleep soundly: “Max will always be ready to take whatever he can, but his car will suffer in the heat. It’s not easy to tune, and it will be even more difficult in the heat.”
