L'Olimpia Milano reflects: possible new arrival for playoffs

For the third year in a row, Olimpia will not play in the Euroleague post season (on par with Virtus Bologna). A debacle that leaves much bitterness in the mouth. Between injuries and games approached in the wrong way, the red and white lost the European train. Now there is only one way left to save the season, and that is to win the Scudetto.
In light of the many injured, non-top, and worn-out players currently available, the club, through its president/coach Messina, may decide to intervene in the market and bring in someone who can help out in the playoffs. More than likely, if someone were to arrive, they would target an outside, guard/play to mean.
Dimitrijevic, after a great start to the season, has been lost along the way. Bolmaro, now struggling with a fractured nose, has confirmed that he is not a true playmaker, and Mannion seems to have suffered from the double commitment, namely Euroleague and championship.
Many names are circulating. La Prealpina mentioned the name of Hilliard, a 1993-class outside player also seen with the jerseys of CSKA Moscow and Maccabi Tel Aviv. At the moment, however, there is no confirmation of the Red and White club’s willingness to look for a reinforcement on the market, although, to shake up a team in an obvious state of confusion, a new face could also be an optimal solution.
