Disappointed Fip president Gianni Petrucci renews his call for the government to correct the timetable for the entry into force of regulations pertaining to sports work and release

“FIP President Giovanni Petrucci expresses his dismay at the absence of answers and renews his call to the government to provide to correct the timelines for the entry into force of the rules inherent to sports labor and release,” this is the FIP’s note on the reform of the sports system.

“These are common sense interventions that would allow the world of clubs to reasonably adapt to the epochal changes that have occurred.”

“It is requested that the discipline inherent to sports labor come into effect from July 2023, avoiding an anomalous change of rules during the course of the sports season, and consistent with what appears to be the full operation of the Register of Sports Companies.”

“With regard to the release, it is requested that the final entry into full operation be set for July 2025, ensuring a transitional regime of two sports seasons (2023/2024 – 2024/2025) since the text of the Law, as dismissed, can only result in an earthquake in the amateur sports world.”

“President Petrucci reiterates that he does not want to go into the merits of the provisions, but that he must and will protect the Federation’s affiliates, allowing them to have the right time to organize themselves and transpose the innovations introduced in the best way.”
