Pernat: "Having Marc Marquez in the box destroys you"

The MotoGP manager Carlo Pernat in an interview with Mowmag spoke about the duel between Marc Marquez and Pecco Bagnaia, which was rekindled after the Catalan champion’s mistake in Austin. “Bagnaia in Texas did his own thing, and when Marc made a mistake he took advantage of it”.

“Let’s face it: having Marc Márquez in the box destroys you. Having managed not to fall in Thailand and Argentina is worth as much as a win for Pecco. And winning in Austin could change everything”.

Now Bagnaia is a more mature rider: “I think Pecco has learned that he can win a World Championship by winning even just eleven out of twenty races, so now he is stronger than before”.
