Roma soccer market: there are four names dancing around the Giallorossi bench, and it is precisely from this poker of options that Claudio Ranieri&#8217s heir for next season should emerge. The Testaccino coach himself has explained that the new coach will be decided by the club and not by him, although starting from a list he presented and that the management has meanwhile skimmed.

To anticipate the possible names took care during the day on Thursday ‘Sky Sport‘ talking among others of two coaches who have already graduated champions d’Italia. They are Stefano Pioli, winner of the 2022 Scudetto with AC Milan and currently under contract with Al-Nassr, and Maurizio Sarri, who instead won the 2019-2020 Serie A at the helm of Juventus. Interestingly, both have coached in the capital before, but at Lazio.

The third hypothesis instead involves a return: that of Vincenzo Montella. The coach from Pomigliano d’Arco, now coach of Turkey, made his debut with Roma in 2011 after having worn the Giallorossi jersey as a player from 1999 to 2007 and then in 2008-2009. The last option is instead the one that leads to Patrick Vieira, capable of relaunching Genoa after taking over from Alberto Gilardino during this season.

“The coach is not chosen by me, it doesn&#8217t work that way. I made a list of names with merits and demerits but it is also up to the Friedkins to decide. A list that started with 7/8 names and that has been reduced to 3/4, but now we are close, very close to the choice”, Claudio Ranieri had explained to the ‘Messaggero’, in reference to the future of the Roma bench.
