McLaren, Lando Norris leading but unhappy: "Something is wrong"

Despite leading the F1 World Championship standings, Lando Norris confessed his difficulties in this early season in an’interview with ‘The Sun’: “I wish I had an answer, but I don’t. I am sure I have everything I need to win. But there’s something wrong with me and the car”.
“I am not able to repeat the laps I did last year– added the McLaren driver. “I knew every corner, everything that was going to happen with the car, how it was going to happen. I felt superior even to the same single-seater”.
“Even in Melbourne, I never felt comfortable, I didn–t feel confidence; continued the Briton -The car was phenomenal and that helped me get out of a lot of trouble. But I am nowhere near the ability I have. And that is painful to admit”.
“When things don“t go my way and I make a mistake, I feel very disappointed. Maybe sometimes I lack a little bit’of self-confidence, it has happened to me in the past. But it is simply the way I am, the way I do things. That has made me who I am and, at times, probably prevented me from being a better driver. Like I said, I know what I can do. I just need to focus on getting back to that level” Norris concluded.
