The Stamford Bridge, home of Chelsea, is preparing to welcome Thursday evening (kickoff at 9 p.m.) the Blues coached by Enzo Maresca, ready to manage against Legia Warsaw the wide lead accrued in the first leg in Poland: seven days ago, in fact, it ended 3-0 for the Londoners, dragged by goals in the second half by Tyrique George and Noni Madueke (double for him).

The 1980-born coach will go for a 4-2-3-1, with James and Deswbury-Hall handling the midfield, George, Palmer and Sancho on the three-quarter line, and Nkunku, who missed a penalty in the’first leg, as the main offensive pivot. In goal, Filip Jorgensen, always a starter in the Conference League this year in place of Robert Sanchez, is confirmed.

The Legia, coached by Gonçalo Feio, will need a miracle to overturn the 0-3 loss in the first leg.

The Portuguese coach will rely on an ultraoffensive 4-3-3-3, with Chodyna, Shukrin and Luquinhas in attack, to try to play for any remaining chance of passing the round. In the previous round the comeback came in the return leg with Molde, but they started from 2-3 in the first leg, with the possibility of playing the return leg in Warsaw.
