Alessandro Bastoni gave a long interview to the Gazzetta dello Sport: “The fatigue of 54 games played so far, moreover after twenty days of rest in the summer that cannot be called a vacation, is overcome by the’exaltation: it is so good… not to choose. At the beginning of the year we told ourselves to try to win everything. Of course, we could still finish second anywhere and without cups a little bitter taste in the mouth would remain even though a season at these heights cannot be considered disappointing”.
“Bayern? I always thought we would make it, we went into the game knowing that we would pass the round. They were among the favorites to win the final, eliminating them means being a really great team.
