Amedeo Della Valle challenges Virtus Bologna and Olimpia Milano

Interviewed on “Basket Time” on “Teletutto,” Amedeo Della Valle took stock of the situation with four days left in the regular season: “Winning them all for us would be like raising a trophy. It would give us great satisfaction and would be the crowning achievement of our excellent year. There’s motivation, we come from a very difficult cycle of five games against top-level opponents. We ourselves did not know how we would be able to face them.”
Over the years in Brescia Della Valle’s role has changed: “During the first season I had a centrality in the team’s play that, in the years to come, would not have been sustainable. That kind of impact would not have been good for the groups that were built afterwards. Today that is not the case, and in fact, in the end, we almost always manage to play with everyone.”
Many opponents prepare a now a defensive game plan adapted to ADV’s game: “For me it remains a privilege to experience such situations. I try to make the right play for the team. This is inspiring and fosters my personal improvement in no small way. I know that if I looked for solutions for myself I would play into the hands of the opponents and end up blocking the flow of Brescia.”
