Liverpool: Chiesa forgotten by Slot, future is in Serie A

Liverpool fans would like to see him on the field but, at the moment, the Reds coach Slot does not even consider him. Even against Leicester (1-0 to Liverpool), the blue did not enter the field, in fact he was not even summoned. For him, another game followed from the stands.

To date, there are only four Church’s appearances in the Premier League (he is also in danger of missing out on the Champion of England medal, as he needs at least five appearances for the season). In total, he has made only 33′ in the Premier League. Slot, in fact, does not see him, despite, recently, speaking highly of the’former Juventus man.

At this point, it is more than likely that, in the summer, Chiesa will return to Italy. The decision, made last August, to go and play in England did not bear the desired fruit. Very few appearances and, in fact, out of the project of the Reds (who renewed Salah for latre two seasons).

In Italy there would be several clubs interesting in Chiesa. First and foremost is Napoli. De Laurentiis, if he wants to convince Conte to stay on the Azzurri bench, must offer the coach quality players. Chiesa would be an excellent buy. Even Milan and Roma could step up (difficult for Inter, despite Marotta’s esteem for him). There is, however, a problem. Chiesa has a very high Liverpool salary: over seven million euros per season. Too many for any Italian club.
