Torino, Guillermo Maripan is blunt about Scudetto fight

During an’interview given to the microphones of “Sky Sport“, the central defender of the Torino Guillermo Maripan, among the various topics discussed, dwelt on the Scudetto fight between Inter and Napoli, who will both have to face the granata in these last days of the championship.

“We are focused on one game at a time. These are matches that are worth a lot to us and we just want to win: that is what matters most. I don’t think the Scudetto will come only from the Inter and Napoli games against us. It will still be nice to face two such strong teams, we want to try and end the season in the best way” debuted the Chilean central.

“I almost finished my first season here, I am very happy at this club. I see young players who have a lot of potential, but there are also experienced players who can help the younger ones a lot. I think that next year will be much better for us and I am convinced that we can fight for Europe” added the 1994 class.

“The coach asked me to transfer my experience from the years I played in France, Spain and the Chilean national team to the younger players. There’s a lot of dialogue, day by day. On a personal level I am very happy: I am learning the language and adapting perfectly to the league” concluded Guillermo Maripan.
