Carlo Calcagni in history, double world record

Carlo Calcagni has written a new (double) page in the history of world Paralympic athletics.
On April 24, at the prestigious International Athletics Grand Prix in Marrakech, the champion of the Defense Paralympic Sports Group set a new world record in the 100 meters category T72, stopping the clock at an extraordinary 14″92.
On April 26, Carlo Calcagni repeated himself: second world record in two consecutive races, this time in the 400 meters category T72, with an outstanding time of 01’02″36.
Crowning the feat came the official congratulations received from the highest echelons of international Paralympic sports, in particular from Tarek Souei, Chief Executive Officer of the Asian Paralympic Committee, who stressed that Carlo is an inspiration to the entire world Paralympic movement.
