Inter-Roma: Inzaghi makes no calculations and puts the best people on the field

L’Inter is preparing to take on Roma to redeem itself after two consecutive defeats to Bologna, in the league, and Milan, in the Coppa Italia. Despite the fact that the first leg of the Champions League semifinal with Barcelona is scheduled for Wednesday (the Blaugrana won the Copa del Re over Real Madrid), Inzaghi has decided not to rest any of the starters in the challenge with Ranieri’s team.

Sommer returns in goal (Martinez played in the Coppa Italia). Three-man defense with Pavard, Acerbi and Carlos Augusto, the latter a starter as Bastoni is disqualified. On the flanks will act Darmian and Dimarco (attention to Dumfries and Zielinski, both called up and on the bench ready to lend a hand).

New additions in midfield. Mkhitaryan is disqualified. In his place will be Frattesi who will then act together with Calhanoglu and Barella. No doubt about the attacking pair either. With Thuram still in the box (the Frenchman is aiming to recover for the challenge with Barcelona), it will be Arnautovic’s turn to lend a hand to captain Lauutaro Martinez. Taremi and Correa will be on the bench.

On the other side, Ranieri, on his last game at San Siro, will go for the best possible lineup. Up front, there is room for former Juventus player Soulé and Dovbyk. Inter want to return to success to keep Napoli at bay, Roma still have a chance to clinch a place in Europe but they have to win at the San Siro.
