Another confirmation for UYBA Volleyball Busto Arsizio
UYBA Volley Busto Arsizio has announced an’other important confirmation. After Rebecca Piva and Jennifer Boldini, it is the turn of Josephine Obossa, who will be part of the new roster for the 2025/2026 season. After a standout first year in Serie A1 with the red and white jersey, the’opposite number 11 will continue to make the E-Work Arena vibrate with her power and determination.
“I am very happy to stay, because I found myself very well this year’said the opposing player originally from Naples -. I had the opportunity to play with continuity in the A1 series and for that I thank the club, staff and teammates for the trust they placed in me every day. The season that just ended was incredible: in addition to the results obtained, it was just great to take the field every Sunday together with a really close-knit group of players”.
“On a personal level I think I did well, but you can do better, so I aim to improve and I have a lot of confidence in being able to do so: at UYBA there are all the means to try. As a team I expect another good season, I don’t want to overstate myself but we will certainly try to replicate what we have done well and if possible improve even more” concluded Obossa.
In the 2024/2025 season Josephine played 26 matches, scoring 309 total points (250 in attack with 40% winning). Her performance contributed significantly to the team’s performance, confirming her as one of the most reliable forwards in the league. Not only that: Obossa also excelled at the wall (26) she was among the best in the entire tournament from 9 meters as well, scoring 33 ace.
