Serie B 2024-2025: Sampdoria-Cremonese, the likely lineups

Even in Genoa teams on the field at 3 p.m. on May 1 for the 36th day of Serie B, valid as the 17th in the return leg of the 2024-2025 season.

Sampdoria can make no more mistakes in a league in which it has already done so much wrong. After the tough knockout against Carrarese, the blucerchiati must get valuable points against an in-form Cremonese. The goal is twofold: to move away from the third-last position, which would mean a tremendous relegation to Serie C, and to try to climb back up to avoid the playout.

Giovanni Stroppa’s team will obviously not make any discounts: Cremonese is determined to defend fourth place, which is crucial for direct access to the playoff semifinals and resist the onslaught of surprising Juve Stabia.
