Como and Udinese do Venice a favor: Cagliari and Parma narrow defeats

Saturday of the 35th day of Serie A opens with the external successes of Como and Udinese, respectively against Parma and Cagliari, who fail to take advantage of the half-hearted misstep of Venice to put safety in the safe.
The hosts are the ones who take the lead in the 27th.
At the “Unipol Domus” stadium, it was the guests who took the lead on 27′ with Zarraga materializing an excellent assist from Davis. The joy for the Bianconeri, however, was short-lived, as eight minutes later Cagliari found the equalizing goal with Zortea, who was skillful in taking advantage of a mistake by the opposing rearguard and beating Okoye.
.
In the second half, it was Udinese that created the best scoring chances, and at 67′ the forcing of Runjaic’s men paid off: on the development of a corner, the ball ended up at the feet of Kristensen, who scored an empty goal after decisive indecisions by Augello and Adopo.
At the Stadio “Ennio Tardini”, on the other hand, the two teams go close to the lead on more than one occasion in the first half, but a pinch of inaccuracy combined with the skill of the two goalkeepers keeps the result nailed on 0-0.
In the resumption, the changes became decisive on both sides. In fact, on 79′ the newly-entered Douvikas and Strefezza pack the 1-0 goal, with the former Lecce man being good at slipping Suzuki a precise left-footed shot. In the Parma home, however, it was the substitute Man who had the chance for the equalizer in the midst of the recovery, but the Romanian outfielder shot very high from an excellent position.
With three days to go, Cagliari and Parma remain at +7 and +6 respectively on the relegation zone, with Venezia, which, thanks to its draw with Torino, has nibbled another point in its salvation chase.
