At that point, comes the pride reaction of VakifBank, which manages to come back up to 24-19. In the best moment of the Turks, it took an excellent diagonal of Bajema to close the partial on 25-19.

In the third set, Scandicci again got off to a rocketing start with an 8-2 partial, effectively putting an end to the game.

Conegliano and Scandicci will face each other on Sunday, May 4, in a historic all-Italian final.
