Milan, Sergio Conceiçao announces three absences

A.C. Milan coach Sergio Conceiçao announced three absences ahead of Monday’s league match against Genoa: “Abraham has stopped due to a physical problem. He, Bondo and Sottil” are unavailable.
The Portuguese coach explained that he is not managing strength ahead of the Italian Cup final: “I don“t have to manage anything. We have the responsibility of working for a club like Milan. You cannot say that we play for nothing. We have to show the fans quality all the time by trying to be a different team from the one seen so many times in the league. We think match by match, that is our thought”.
Ballot Gimenez-Jovic:”Both have great qualities. It will be up to me to decide who to play or whether to play them together. It will depend on the situation. They are different players and we have great confidence in their qualities. In soccer everything changes in a moment, so we look at the work and think about match after match”.
On the growth of Loftus-Cheek: “For me he was born to be a box-to-box footballer, then he can play a little bit’ further forward or a little bit’ further back. It depends on what I ask of him depending on the games. He’s strong physically and technically and gets into the opponent’s box easily. He is fine now and we are counting on him”.
