Intensity and crowd bath for Jannik Sinner in first training session in Rome

The Internazionali d’Italia hasn&#8217t even started yet, but Jannik Sinner has already filled the Foro Italico center court for his first open-door practice since his three-month disqualification for the Clostebol case.

The‘Alto Adige took the court in front of about ten thousand people for about two hours with Czech tennis player Jiri Lehecka. During the session, the world number one first focused on endorsements and physical fitness in covering the court, and then moved on to the various fundamentals. This was followed by an actual match simulation, where both players managed to keep a high level of d’intensity.

At the end of the practice, Sinner, after a lengthy autograph session, was escorted off the court by the ovation of the audience, who couldn&#8217t wait to see him in action again.

The

8217;South Tyrolean will return to the court for another round of practice along with Lorenzo Sonego on Tuesday, May 6, at 4:30 p.m. The official tournament debut, however, will be on Saturday, May 10 against one of Federico Cinà and Mariano Navone.
