Ferrari flop, Vigna responds to fans: "We will be relentless"

Only one podium by Charles Leclerc in the first six Grands Prix of the Formula 1 World Championship, one Sprint race won by Lewis Hamilton: this is the meager spoils of Ferrari in this first glimpse of 2025. A start to the championship that has left a bitter taste in the mouth and angered many fans, who expected a competitive single-seater capable of fighting for the title.
The CEO of the Maranello-based company, Benedetto Vigna, admitted the problems and made an appeal to the team: “In Formula 1, the team is more focused than ever on fighting for wins and podiums. The beginning was not easy, we all know that. On the other hand, we are all driven by a deeply rooted grit and a relentless determination to keep moving forward”, he said during the call with shareholders.
In contrast to F1, things are going better for Ferrari in the WEC championship, with two wins in the first two outings: “Let me congratulate the entire team on the historic hat trick in Qatar in the opening race of the 2025 FIA World Endurance Championship and the subsequent victory at the 6 Hours of Imola, more than half a century after our last victory in Italy”.
“We could not have started the racing season in a better way, I was at Imola and I can assure you that sharing those unique emotions with so many Ferrari enthusiasts was an unforgettable experience”.
