Sting for Nicolò Zaniolo, 5 more footballers disqualified

The Giudice Sportivo (sports judge) has released the measures after the 35th day of Serie A. Sting for Nicolò Zaniolo: the Fiorentina star received 2 qualifying days and a’fine of 15’000 euros “for having, at the end of the match, on the field of play, addressed insulting expressions to the match director, after the notification of the expulsion measure, while being pushed away by a teammate addressed to the’Referee a seriously offensive epithet”.

One day of disqualification for Elseid Hysaj and Lorenzo Colombo, both of whom were stopped for double caution for misbehavior toward an opponent.

Rafael Leão, Isak Hien and Morten Thorsby will also miss the next match: all three were cautioned and received yellow cards in the last match that triggered the suspension.
